Well hello, this is just to say that Spotify have made it easier to connect your own profile bio and photos to an artist section. So 7 years after parting ways our Spotify profile is now up!!
Took some time and all that but we got there in the end.
It also felt right to promote Karen in her (not so new) project QueenBeats. It took a long time to get the google password working to write up here again but there you go!
So thank you for happening to stumble across us. Please stream us on Spotify or buy the album on Amazon if you like what you hear.

UPDATE: New project for Tom, Chris and Barny
Well it has been a long time since Thinking for Tuesday did anything. We all loved our time in the band and as they say it's hard to keep a good man down.
With that in mind Tom, Chris and Barny left Thinking for Tuesday but kept playing, writing and jamming together with a mind to getting a new project together.
Well that has happened, with a familiar face on board and a brand new kick-arse lady telling 4 lads what to do (we love it really)
For those of you who came to a few TFT gigs and knew us, will remember that a lovely chap called Mark would help us out with gear, sound and coffee on regular occasions. Well it turns out he can play a bit on the guitar as well!
Naheed is the unlucky lady to decide working with the 4 of us is a good idea. Found on the darkest reaches of the internet she impressed the boys with her vocals and so a new band was born.
Please check out the new project here http://www.mixtapenation.co.uk and we have links to all the main social media stuff you would expect.
We are about to play a big gig that we would love to see you at all in a good cause, for the Royal British Legion on the 30th October in Covent Garden.

Final and Fond Farewell
Just over a year ago Karen left Thinking For Tuesday and after many auditions and some great jams with some really talented musicians we are putting a pin in Thinking For Tuesday.
Will has decided to leave Thinking For Tuesday for the foreseeable future, however it does not mean forever.
Tom, Chris and Barny decided that without Will TFT was too thin on the ground to build up again, so decided it best to put it on hold rather than try to continue.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years, from all our parents and families to the few fans we had. It has been a pleasure writing songs and playing music and we are glad you liked it too.
As a little thank you, we have made all our professionally record songs available to listen to online, but you can still use the website to buy a physical CD as well. (Final plug....)
We would like to thank Kirsten, who recently brought a great voice and some new ideas to the band, it was just at the wrong time! You can check out her own awesome stuff here. https://soundcloud.com/kirsten-hermes
If anyone from TFT has another project we will post it on these walls, but for now we are closing the page on this time as TFT.
Thanks again to everyone Tom, Will, Chris and Barny.

Farewell to Karen, we will miss you!
It is after a fantastic five years of working as Thinking For Tuesday that we are saying a sad farewell to Karen Saunders, the sassy rock chick who has driven Thinking For Tuesday forward for quite some time.
Karen has worked so hard for the band, organising the rest of us and making contacts in many fields of the music industry. She has been a key player in what makes Thinking For Tuesday tick, and has always put her heart and soul into the band's live performances. We have played such a range of venues and gigs with Karen that were all enjoyable, but a few that stand out are supporting Sham 69 at the Railway Inn in Winchester, Senser and Them is Me at the Talking Heads in Southampton, The Coronas at the Boileroom in Guildford and City Stereo at the O2 in London. In the last few years we worked hard to get slots at festivals and have travelled all around the country playing to some lovely crowds.
Karen worked hard to create a great structure for the band and was infamous within Thinking for Tuesday for her lists and spreadsheets and organisation of folders!
Karen leaves Thinking for Tuesday on a high and we will keep in touch with her and let you know as some of her new projects develop. It is not our place to say what they are but we will be really pleased to see them come to fruition.
Thinking For Tuesday would like to thank Karen for all the work she put into the songs that we will try to keep playing, but would like to give her a special mention for two of the crowds favourites: Ordinary Song and Unsung Hero were songs Karen worked hard to write and we want to continue to do them justice.
These last 5 years together have been brilliant for all of us, which is why it is hard to say goodbye to one of the founding members of the band. We want to wish Karen all the best of luck for the future and all the success she deserves.
Good Luck,
Tom, Will, Barny and Chris.

Festival Season
So we've had a blast this summer playing great festivals and have some pretty awesome photos on the way. Most recently Watchet and Wilkestock which both rocked and we'd like to thank the brilliant crowds for their support and feedback at both. We hope to see some of you again at other gigs wearing your new t-shirts!
What's next...
Well three new songs and lots of ideas in the pipeline. Plus a support slot at The Cellars, Portsmouth in October with up and coming band, Munich. We've got tickets to sell so do give us a shout if you're up for it. Not forgetting the admin side of things and getting our tracks out and about in the industry - got to keep plugging away!
So we hope you've enjoyed your summer. Even though the sun goes down earlier, it's back to work and back to school, rest assured we're still working hard and bringing you all the up to date Thinking For Tuesday news!

Acoustically Speaking
Hey,
I noticed that we have been a little quiet of late what with Tom having just got back from France and Chris jetting around to all manor of locations. But, we have a couple of awesome festivals approaching at the end of August and into September. The Watchet Festival and Wilkestock Festival. We were very sad to hear the Winchester Rock Festival was cancelled as we were all really looking forward to that but hope they revive the idea in 2012.
So what have we been doing in the mean time? Well while Chris has been away the rest of us have been working on acoustic versions of our songs to prepare ourselves for future acoustic gigs. We love playing acoustically and have been experimenting with how we play our electric songs like Slide, Girl in the Red Dress Too and Stop The World. They are sounding good and with a little more practice we will have a great new acoustic set.
Chris is back soon, so in the next few weeks we can start to look at our melting pot of new songs that just need a final tweak. We are excited with all that we have coming up so although we may not be gigging much at the moment we promise we are working hard to make the autumn and winter gigs a mix of old and new.
Hope you are having a great summer!
