The Bank Holiday

This weekend sees us gig free as Chris returns from his holiday and the rest of us just enjoy a long weekend.
Kaz is becoming another year older so we will be celebrating that over the weekend and will try to get some candid photos for you as it could get messy...!

Tom is going to Splashdowne in Poole for a friends birthday - waterpark fun!

We do have quite a few gigs just around the corner so please keep your eyes peeled for those. The next big one is Them is Me in Southampton. They are a great band and it will be a great night. Still a few tickets left but going fast. Last year the gig was a sell out so buy early!

Well have a great weekend, I know we all intend to, and see you again very soon.

This week's news...

As always keeping everyone updated with the latest Thinking For Tuesday gossip. So in no particular order...

- You can now buy Holding For A Reason for £5 in Central London. How exciting! Sister Ray in Soho have agreed to stock it for us. The shop itself is worth a visit busting with underground artists and bands, who knows what you might find.
http://www.sisterray.co.uk

- We have a new date confirmed to play at The Proud Galleries in Camden. Was a shame last week was cancelled but soon rectified. You can catch Thinking For Tuesday at 'PROUD PRESENTS' on Tuesday 29th September. We're really looking forward to that one...

- This weekend is shaping up to be a goodun. Headlining the Big Bike Bash on Saturday followed by an afternoon of acoustic music outside at The Railway Inn, Winchester on Sunday. All details can found on the gig page.

- Finally THEM IS ME support gig approaching fast. Saturday 12th September at Talking Heads in Southampton. Tickets are £7 each, we have a bunch so just let us know if you would like some. What with all those REEF fans out there get in quick as it's selling fast!

I know it's Thursday but I'm already thinking about the weekend. Have a good one folks and hopefully we'll see some of you over the two days.

Its a Shame

We were meant to be in Camden tonight playing a gig but due to circumstances out of our control the gig is no longer happening.
Its a shame but we will be back there soon enough I am sure.

We still have plenty of other gigs to look forward to and we are all really looking forward to the Big Bike Bash on the 22nd August (or whichever the Saturday is).

Till then...

Last minute Camden gig...

Hello TFT followers!

Just thought we'd let you know we have been booked, last minute, to play at The Proud Galleries in Camden tomorrow night.

Lush venue: stables turned bar and music venue. Free entry. Doesn't get much better than that, except appolgies for the short notice!

So if you've got the night free, come on down, have a beer with us and see some great live bands for free. We're on about 9.30pm.

Thanks a lot and look forward to seeing any of you that can make it.

Album Promotion...

Hi everyone,

I'm enjoying a fairly relaxed day at work so thought what better way to spend my time than let you know how this week's promotion has gone...

Tomorrow we play at Borders in Southampton from 12 to 5pm where, along with other bands, we will be promoting the Sett Compiliation CD (as mentioned in an earlier blog) and Holding For A Reason, both of which are now on sale in the store.

Come down, watch the bands play and pick up a copy of the CD. It couldn't be easier!

Secondly, taking a walk around Camden yesterday and came across a little independant record store. Yes, you can now also purchase Holding For A Reason for just £5 at:

OUT ON THE FLOOR RECORDS
10 Inverness Street
Camden
London
NW1 7HJ

We hope you have a great weekend and look forward to tuning in again with some more news soon.

Thanks to Angry Badger

Thanks to Jules and his team at Angry Badger. We had a great night yesterday and it was nice to see so many people turn up and enjoy live music. We will be doing an acoustic set with them at Borders in Southampton next Saturday between 12 and 5pm where our CD will be available as well as the Angry Badger record of local artists.

See you all Tuesday we hope for our gig at the Boileroom in Guildford.
