A review to be proud of...

"Their music is jaw droppinly catchy, hook laden and quite heavy when they want to. Its not overplayed by any of the band, who seem to know exactly what they want and have achieved it without compromise."

"I can see TFT’s live set being a thing of beauty."

"The first time I played this in the car, I wasn’t blown away, but on repeated listens, the damn thing just gets better and better."

One week old memories.

We're a week behind schedule but not to worry - had a lot going on.

Huge thanks to everyone who came and supported us last Tuesday at the 229 Club in London. It was a great night made even more so by you all. Next date; same time, same venue - Tuesday 22nd June. £7 entry on the door and worth every penny. All support and cheers welcome! Thanks.

Last Minute London

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who supported us at our gig at The Haverstock Arms last night. It was a really positive night and, despite not fitting on their tiny stage and having to amend the set to suit the only guitars we could use, we had a ball and appreciated all those who clapped and cheered (and those who sat and just listened of course)!

Also...

Last minute opportunity to be back in London on Tuesday has come up. Glasswerk presents a night at The Monarch this Tuesday 13th April. It's £5 entry and we're headlining the night at 10:15pm. All last minute support rewarded with a beer!

Hope some of you can make it along.

Thanks again and hope you've enjoyed a day off in the sunshine.

Easter News

Happy Easter!

We've got the weekend off so I thought I'd take some time to fill you in on the recent news...

CAR TALK
We've recently appeared in April editions of Jaguar World and Classic Car Magazine thanks to John Briggs who approached us requesting the permission to write an article based on our recent photoshoot with the Jaguar Etype featured on the Dave Clark Five album cover back in the 60s (see our photo gallery for image). It's been great promotion and we thank him very much. You can pick up copies of the magazines at all WHSmith stores and keep an eye out as we hope to appear in some other publications soon.

FESTIVALS
Confirmed to play The Aylesbury Festival on 17th July. Plus one month today until we grace the stage at BMAD Festival. Can't wait and looking forward to seeing those of you attending.

GREAT NIGHT AHEAD
FREE entry to our next London gig at The Haverstock Arms in Belsize Park. Great pub on the corner known for its famous clientelle, pictures of who litter the walls inside.

BITS AND PIECES
Look out for our branded beer mats we've been delivering to future gig venues. New song - Twenty Four - on it's way soon.

Have a great weekend and we thank you for your continued support.

Storm the Charts

Well we are now officially part of the revolution. http://bit.ly/chartstorm

It is a great idea to help and promote unsigned music in the UK. Even if we are not one of the 40 chosen, we still think you should check out the music and help get 40 unknown bands into the UK Charts.

http://stormthecharts.livejournal.com

Half of getting chosen is done by public vote, so please help us by voting.

Thanks

Festival News

Well it would seem this year has kicked off well so I wanted to spread the news...

Thinking For Tuesday have already been confirmed on to the line up for three great festivals:

BMAD Festival - popular bikers festival.
LLAMA Festival - a chance to see stacks of bands playing all over Lynton & Lynmouth in North Devon.
South Devon Festival - a number of great acts leading up to Will Young's headline performance!

We've got a top London gig coming up on the 18th February at Tommy Flynns in Camden. Run by Tourdates it's a blinding night to spot up and coming bands so come on over and check out the talent! If you haven't heard our new song, Stop The World, we hope that might be enough to tempt you out on a Thursday...

Southampton promotors, Jurassic Mark, are set to release a compilation album of local up and coming bands on which we feature with our song Unsung Hero. If you're around we'll be playing the launch party for that at Talking Heads in Southampton on 19th February.

Lots more to report and we'll be getting the camera back out soon for some video blogs so keep an eye out.

Until then, happy weekend everyone!

PS. New branded freebies on the way - grab a load at gigs!
